How is Semaglutide Taken?
At Riley’s Drugs, semaglutide drops are dispensed in a bottle with a calibrated dropper for patient ease. Once the drop is placed under the tongue, it should be allowed to fully absorb and not swallowed. Semaglutide can be taken with or without food. The medication dosage will vary depending on the patient’s individual clinical response.

Should you experience any side effects, we have a few suggestions that may help. Primarily, DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Regular water intake will be the best aid in combatting these side effects. It’s best to avoid greasy and high carb foods but healthy proteins are encouraged. Alcohol and coffee should be avoided or there should be a max of 2 cups per day to reduce the chances of stomach upset. Some over the counter medications may aid in the reduction of side effects. However, it is highly suggested that you consult your doctor or pharmacist before beginning a new medication. Finally, some natural remedies such as ginger and peppermint may reduce the nausea intensity.
