How is Semaglutide Taken?

At Riley’s Drugs, semaglutide drops are dispensed in a bottle with a calibrated syringe. The drops are taken once daily under the tongue, it should be allowed to fully absorb and not swallowed. What are the Side Effects?

It’s best to avoid greasy and high carb foods but healthy proteins are encouraged. Alcohol and coffee should be avoided or there should be a max of 2 cups per day to reduce the chances of stomach upset. Some over the counter medications may aid in the reduction of side effects. However, it is highly suggested that you consult your doctor or pharmacist before beginning a new medication. Finally, some natural remedies such as ginger and peppermint may reduce the nausea intensity.
